To help Waiheke community groups find volunteers, and to encourage more people on the island to get involved in community activity, Project Forever Waiheke has established has established the MAD (Make a Difference) campaign.
Which organisations/groups can register here?
Any community group based on Waiheke and undertaking projects for the benefit, directly or indirectly, of the island, is eligible to be listed on the volunteering webpage.
What information do you need to provide?
So that potential volunteers are not wasting your time or theirs, it is important to have clear information about the kinds of tasks that volunteers will undertake with your organisation, and how to get in touch with someone who will call them back promptly.
